There were a lot of teams that were interested in Cody Belanger once it became clear that he was looking for a one year deal so why did the Cubs win? He can be the same player he was offensively last year and it's an upgrade from the production they got from the position. It'd be very surprising if he's ready this season maybe for like a September call up like Corbin Carroll was at the end of last year typetype situation.
