The Greatness of God's Might
Kant: The stars used to be gods. They're not gods anymore, but they are instruments of God. And more clearly than knowing all those things about the stars, he knows the human heart. So in both these cases, what we're doing is saying, right? Stars aren't gods, but they're actually signs that matter because of the fact that they were created and can be used as signs. That's a very Augustinian viewpoint.
