I feel like some of the stuff that I read off of labor notes were saying that the votes even came down were such a small proportion of the unions affected voted against the strike because they didn't think that it was going to pass. So there was sort of a chill over their independent activityYeah they didn't have a large enough majority that's footing no and so it's a question of what the larger social ferment and social conditions are you know if there was a much larger level of strikes going on right now they might have made a different decision. There is just a huge amount of potential growth in many industries where the rate of unionization is fairly low, he says.
