Facebook has been forced to pay a fee by the Australian government for posting news on its site. The move is seen as an attack on the open web and will have consequences, says author Andrew Keen. He argues that facebook's position was weaker than Google's because they had no other choice but to walk away from their business model. But he also believes Facebook can still make money if it doesn't post any more news.
