Urban Indigenous Collective
The urban indigenous collective, also known as UIC, supports access to culturally tailored health and wellness services for self-identified indigenous peoples in Lenape, Hulking, so-called New York City. And we really are committed to modeling continuous consent and free, and informed consent and consultation as protocols within each of our programming areas. We work really holistically with traditional knowledge keepers, as well as Western medicine, to enhance the overall mental and physical well-being of our urban indigenous community.
