The Correlation Between Brain Activity and Our Conscious Experiences
There are tight correlations between brain activity and our conscious experiences. But of course, relations are not a theory. We think that there's a deeper explanation that has to be given beyond the correlations. For example, in experiments about our conscious experience of having made a free choice, you can actually have neural activity that predicts what the person is going to say several seconds before the person is consciously aware.
