Connell and Marianne
Vanessa: I think what is interesting to me about the setup for these two characters, Connell and Marianne is an ingenious setup. There's no meat cute. It is just a circumstance that Marianne's mom has hired Connell's mom to do their house cleaning. And that says everything about these two characters very, very quickly. The only thing missing are their own like personal interest in their own little backstories which we can get into.
