I have tried in the books to give voice even to the bad actors when they're expressing their own views on politics. There is just so much of this in public life at the moment that it seems unnatural. It just feeds into, I don't have to satirise anything. I just say what's going on and people think it's funny. Sounds absolute, but it's mostly true.
