The Importance of Exit in Voice
The more vocal an organization is, the worse that things tend to get. This is a way to measure decline. Exit can also be seen as this that people are leaving an organization either as consumers or shareholders. It is a sign that things are not going particularly well for you. But if you want to have exit, you need to appreciate it and approve it in a way that they're not leaving because your company sucks, but that opportunity is available to them.
