I see yeah that's really fascinating so then on the topic of doing this controlled generation in an alternative in a different way where you're kind of specifying a clear objective and then optimizing something maybe we could talk about this really interesting work that you had on distributional controlled text generation. Could you just talk through like the back story of working on this paper and all of course linked to it in the in the show notes awesomeYeah so in I think this was definitely before the pandemic with a colleague of mine was in neighbors called Mark Dimettman and they have been working he also has been fascinated by the problem of moment matching and they apply to language models for example.
