Is There an AI Winter Coming?
An air winter is something that would occur when there's a big mismatch between how we are selling the capabilities of the eye and the actual capabilities of the eyes. Today, so deep learning is creating a lot of value and it will keep creating a much more useful model for solving problems today. What's concerning, however, is that there's a lot of hype around deep planning and around AI. It might look fast in the sense that we have this exponentially increasing number of papers. But again, that's just a simple consequence of the fact that we have ever more people coming into the field.
