He was the most stable, mature man that she ever had in her life. He admired her mind in a way that neither of her husbands ever had. She helped to get Ernest Hemingway's papers into the John F. Kennedy Library. I have made no connection really between Hemingway and Jackie until this very second when I'm kind of wondering if they ever hung out.
