The State vs the Market
The notion of the state attempting to be the primary force and rectifying these inequalities is a nice idea. But it's also very slippery slope, right? Because then the state says, okay, well, this is what we'll do to allocate resources to fix this problem. And so when inevitably other areas need to be equalized or opportunity has to be brought to other areas or services are required, the government is the one that the people go to to ask for these.
