There's a lot of those moments where the movie takes these strange like unexpected turns or like almost because of like trivialities. having that conversation about hell reminded me of that moment right after ray is trying to kill himself and then ken comes up and stops. It kind of feeds into that point of like whose hand is justice allowed to rest in this film.
