If your body is telling you to do it, maybe there's a reason you shouldn't do it. The nice part about HRV is that it gives you a way of monitoring that response from the system. You can't just say, okay, my HRV is I don't know, whatever. It's in again, it's relative to an established baseline, not a single number. And then look at those changes and see if they're related to stress or anything else.
