Queer Sociality

In the book, you point out Cathy Cohen's definition of being queer in that it relates to power. How does this definition or what exactly does this definition say about the gospel and how we may understand the gospel? That's such a good question. You know, there's a very easy answer to that in some way, which is something like Jesus threw in his loft with the marginalized and outcast in various ways. It's clear from his practices and some of his sayings that that's the for whom, you know, being with them for the poor is what Christianity should be about.
