I think it's really interesting is that just the nature of power and competition, like, the nature of the world has changed. And I'm not saying Google intentionally did what it did to kill Metafilter, but you know, there's a lot of reasons why there are no transparency. You can also blame Facebook for not being aware of their impact.
This episode surprised us; through a discussion of who is at fault in the latest series of new vs old-world spats, we realized that not only has the Internet fundamentally changed winners-and-losers, but also the very nature of economic competition and the type of regulation that is required.
