Foucault: Poetry is not guaranteed to happen, and that's what makes it so special. He concludes the text by dissuading us from thinking of the author as a transcendent figure. The author is actually a very restricted being, not someone who brings up something new per se. So he looks forward to possibility of moving away from the search for an author in order to open up newness.
