The Soviet Union and the Spanish Civil War
Almost 3,000 Spanish children went to the Soviet Union. The vast majority of them lived in 22 boarding schools that were created for them. They have really fond memories of this care and the largesse that the Soviet Union provides. Some recall years later when two former Ninos married each other, they considered it to be an incestuous relationship because they're from the same quote family.
