Santos vs. Gates

Congressman George Santos has the same number of votes in the House as Nancy Pelosi or Kevin McCarthy. He can vote on taxation, healthcare policy, voting rights and whether we go to war. The law doesn't bar a person who's been convicted of a federal crime from serving in Congress. Prosecutors are also probing Santos' role in a shady investment firm that the Federal Securities Exchange Commission has branded a Ponzi scheme.
