The Role of ESBL in Resistance to Third Generation Cephalosporins
Enterobacter Klueke, Klebsiella derogenes, and Citrobacter frondae. For those organisms, regardless of what the MIC is, no breakpoint recommended from US cast. We stratify it as a function of third generation cephalosporin susceptibility. And so we have a susceptibility breakpoint of 16 in that setting. That is at a dose of 4.5 Q6 as a three hour infusion.
