"I waited until I had 12 organisations involved. And then I called a very nice man called Simon Ryder and he was president of Speedo," says Sir Chris Hoy. "And he just said, look, we can help with this. What a terrific thing to do." The response from those swimmers, by the way, was absolutely terrific - they really put themselves out. They didn't want to be in it for profile. They just thought this is a real, this is the right thing to do".
