Is There a Review of the Reserve Bank?
The reserve bank was supposed to be reviewed every five years, but clearly that hasn't happened for several decades. The ultimate decision about the form and scope of the inquiry will be made by treasurer jim charmers. To date, charmers has been ambiguous in his answers on the question of how the review will go. But he's leaving open the possibility of changes to the size and composition of the board.
