When the Shepherd Finds the Sheep, He Rejoices in It.
If I were the shepherd, and again, we're referenced about as sheep a lot in the scripture. And that's not the greatest compliment. We would never be a shepherd. But yes, if we had shepherds, we would expect them to do whatever it takes to get our lost sheep home. This was typical behavior. When he finds the sheep, he finds joy. He rejoices in it. It brings him joy. If you see at the very bottom of the cognate, we're talking about that's where we get joy because of grace. The same word that Pastor Louis talked about last week when we dug into the Greek. Are you all with me on that?
