When I think about monitoring, I'm thinking about the type of data that will help me yield real-time results and getting things better. There's a lot of companies that have these well-known monitored things based on what they think they need right now. What happens is one of those things trips, but you don't know why. You're actually chasing the symptom, not the actual root calls.
