Is It a Colitis Model?
In an experiment, cells that were active during initial inflammation changed the inflammatory phenotype of the gut. They then asked by just activating this subset of cells, the memory, quote unquote, engram in the insular cortex, could they recapitulate thatinflammatory syndrome? And they found that there were a subset of things that they could recapitulate. But I don't know what it is. The only question I had was, I'm surprised that reviewers had asked them to do a cohort of mice where they injected both choruses and see whether there is an engram on the other side as well.
