The Parallels Between Lebanon and Syria

In 2005, we had what's called the Cedar Revolution, which forced this after the assassination of the Prime Minister. I mentioned there was that huge uprising, which forced the scene regime and its army out of Lebanon. And so it was very bizarre for me to think about that year and sort of what had happened then. There is no bigger neighbor in that sense. So a small parallel would be that Lebanon was at some point occupied by Syria and by Israel at the same time.
