The Importance of the Farmer

In 1880, what 90% of people were basically employed on the farm, now it's like 3%. And so you could imagine that there'd be running away from the boundaries of nature that parallels urbanization and because it's an abstraction process. But the importance of the farmer is key. I had missed this in my 20s. I only rediscovered this in the last few years where I myself returned to my roots and began farming again.
