Last year my dad became the sixth bicyclist to be killed while bicycling in Philadelphia. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year and after months of chemotherapy and surgery we just found out last week that she has cancer free. I'm excited to see what the future holds. What's your high note? Hi, my name is Laura but my students call me Miss Apple. Despite all of the violence and in the increased horribleness that we have seen here in the city the kids that I work with still are positive and still maintain the drive to make themselves better.
