Creativity is important in every discipline, right? It's not only as a designer, you need to be creative. The weird person is the brave person putting themselves out there and letting their weirdness show. We have weaponized the word 'weird' because it says it's a form of self-expression. And that becomes a negative when actually, what we're saying is that that person isn't like all of us.
