I think that we're not just turning our back on the state because the state has all our stuff. And also there are possibilities within it. I really am moved by the ways the state has been described as a condensation of social forces. We want to extract carcerality from public institutions and make them truly public goods or, you know, what we call the commons. But if there needs to be a central coordinating institution to do that then let's keep the cops out of it.
