Carson tries again, reading one of Wild's letters to Bosey. With each and every attempt, Carson is met with uproarious laughter. As lunch draws near, Carson cusses to himself. Oscar waves to the young men packed into the gallery. He hadn't expected the morning session to go quite so well. It will be a different story this afternoon. By day’s end, he will have wiped that smug grin from his adversaverse face.
