Introduction

The JAMA Editor's Summary is a review of important research and review articles appearing in the latest JAMA issue. This week, we look at two reports published online simultaneous with presentations of the results at the European Society for Intensive Care Medicine. The first from Dr. Bernardin colleagues examines the effect of lower versus higher oxygen saturation targets on survival to hospital discharge among patients resuscitated after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
