The Chancellor Meets the Office of Budget Responsibility (OBR)
OBR Office for Budget Responsibility are independent analysts of the government's plans. They cast a bit of a judgement, give their verdicts on whether they're going to work or not. The Chancellor rejected having them analysis his fiscal statement last week. And so today what we have was this meeting with the Chancellor, with the Prime Minister herself, Liz Truss. It is really rare for a Prime Minister to meet the OBR and I think it's significant in that regard.
