I've had very few papers accepted in my life on the first try, I published 200 and something papers. They've been cited 13,000 times, maybe. And not one of the 200 papers was. Well, one of them was this accepted as is. So these are things that we want to have in place that will perhaps point us to new physics. It's not a sign of unhealthy bias, sensorious scientific process because you can't get your paper published. In fact, it might be seen by somebody who is truly pursuing knowledge that it may be much harder.
