Lava Tubes Are Big on the Moon
Lava tubes on the moon have a consistent inner temperature of 63 degrees fahrenheit, or 17 rees celsius. These lava tubes can be as big as one thousand, 600 to three thousand feet, or 500 to 900 meters in diameter. If we built habitats in them, they also can help block the harmful effects of radiation and micro meteor impact - which happens quite often on the moon.
