There are so many places where deep learning does not work, certainly does not work to day a. And it's not as if we have systems that can do any thickening the human brain can do. If you ask it for a blog post in the voice of donald trump, it'll give you five that are jawdropping, and he'll give you five tat that aren't up to snuff right? There's a gap there. Other techniques that people are developing, but they ther not being developed completely independent of the breakthroughs and the utility of deep learning athout.
