The Importance of Thinking Big
In the United States it's still something like 86 percent of the grid is being provisioned by centralized power plants. Sweden and France have invested heavily in huge energy generation infrastructures like hydroelectric and nuclear power. The Tennessee Valley Authority brought on the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, which already generates almost as much power as all the solar and wind in the entire New England region combined.
