The Effect of Genetic Variants on Personality
The FEMON gene might have an effect that's bigger in some people than in others. It could even drift accidentally into the evolutionary discussion of like oh is it native for your health outcomes to be extroverted in a society that doesn't appreciate that, or that actually represses that strongly. I personally think the effect that we see such extreme polygenicity for something as personality is just the fact that it is an outcome of very many processesSome direct biological influences are fairly you know, straight forwardSomething a variant changes something slightly your brain which has a certain subtle influence on a system during development which has a tiny influence of personality. You can imagine those effects cannot be very big.
