Is Optimizing for Eyeballs the Right Thing?

A lot of times the quotes are misattributed or taken into the context. People have no idea how many times headlines are done by somebody else, not the actual right of the article. And it's all about getting eyeballs on that headline. To have someone else write the title is a holdover from the print era. But to be able to A.B. test it and change the title throughout the day will get you maximum traction.
