Chris Watts's Conviction for the Murder of a Child Under the Age of 12
Chris Watts was charged with three counts of first degree murder plus two first degree murder charges for causing the death of a child under the age of 12. On November 6th, 2018, Chris Watts pleaded guilty to all nine counts against him. Shenan's family requested that prosecutors not seek the death penalty. So on November 19th, Chris Watts was sentenced to life in prison.
