Frida Ghitis: Francisco's way of thinking about science was, if we wanted to use a kind of philosophical jargon, it was constructivist. He didn't think of science as this kind of disclosure of how reality is in itself. And he also saw it as fundamentally always a caught up in issues about how we interpret things.
