One of the big issues that we will be facing as we walk that road is governance because these protocols may change over time as needs change and how those changes are decided is going to be really really important. i'm concerned about the asymmetry that comes from artificial intelligence the ability to leverage it more powerfully if you have all options open rather than a moral constraint. One solution one solution is for those who are developing these things to self-certify adherence to a set of rules and and values.
