How to Pray in Small Groups

Extended monologuing prayer in churches is boring. It's hard to listen to particularly when you've got a whole list of sick people that you're working through and all these names. The extended monologue when done by an extremely gifted person is very moving and excellent but can often be done poorly. So pay attention to how to do prayer in a way that actually doesn't undermine a culture of prayer because it's boring but actually deeply encourages people to engage carefully.
