Roman Catholic Versus Reformed Christian

Roman Catholic and Reformed Christian use identical terms but with significantly different meanings. Justification in the Roman conception is an ongoing process, rising and falling. Luther distinguished alien righteousness from Christ's perfections outside of us. Catholicism teaches justification establishes cooperation between God's grace and man's freedom.
