Mason is a new social networking app that aims to replace the popular identica and ne social platforms. It has been designed by Andrew Sotler, who previously worked on frase book for Google Talk. He says mason builds on existing standards rather than coming up with something entirely new one night. But he admits there are some similarities between mastron and activity pub.
