This week on deep dive, bloomburg economy reporter uko takio explains why the yen is at a 20 year low. Yu ko takio: In the space of basically six weeks, it's gone from a hundred n 15 yen to a hundred 25 yen. So it's suddenly weakened cen. And what that means in real world terms is that say you had ten thousand yen and you were tring to exchange thet einht dollars. Six weeks ago, your ten thousand yen would have got you 87 dollars. But now, if i went to an exchange and exchanged it, it would be roughly 79 dollars.
