mindfulness is like trying to stay in this moment by focusing on one thing and then when your attention drifts well the point is it that that's what you're doing. The notion is that over time if you start doing that regularly and are honest about it you'll start to drive a better feeling about associations between sleep and exercise. I've also started using an app called how we feel where you can associate adjectives with things such as "happy" or "ambitious" It really needs some polish but I think stuff like that for having a name for what you're feeling can be really good.
