Moses, Up on the Mountain, Standing for the Official Leadership in the Church
Moses is not just the general who's surveying the scene and giving commands, but we also hear that he's got his hands raised. I imitate it every time I say mass and I assume what they call the Orans position, the praying position. The church is sustained by prayer, period. In the Bible, nothing great ever happens apart from prayer. If the church stops praying, the battle doesn't go well.
