Sammy gets an almost throwaway moment of emotional racial realism when he has to explain why he's driving a garbage truck instead of playing professional baseball. Can you imagine i i would have made out a one eyed third baseman in mobile? Any three of the main stars could have sang the ocean's elevent theme song, but it was assigned solely to sammy who sings it three times over the course of the movie. It gets an optimistic treatment, yoeliv, some day i'll have me poous, stacks of stacks of folan green e even e 11. But on the whole, sammy is surprisingly centred in oceans 11.
